Pseudoprionopeltis ravidus

Diplopoda
Dalodesmidae  : Dalodesminae

The two species, Pseudoprionopeltis ravidus and Pseudoprionopeltis elaphrus are very similar and could be regarded as subspecies. The first is in the forests of Nelson and the latter is widely distributed in North Island forests and shrublands. Neither is tolerant of urban/horticultural/agricultural habitats.
