Very widespread in NZ. Almost certainly associated with damp habitats and quite common in urban sites as it readily comes to house lights. Adult stage is present for a long period Spring to Autumn. Easily recognised (under a x10 lens) by its dark, circular stigma on the otherwise clear wing.
